Back again for 2025! The Arc will be offering a kid-friendly version of the Wildflower Pilgrimage for youth ages 6-12 years old and their families. The day will begin at 10:00 am with a guided wildflower hike at the Appalachian Forest Museum. Participants will learn about the different parts of flowers and wildflower lifecycles while using their five senses to get in tune with the natural world. After the hike, we will return to the Forest Museum for a bring-your-own picnic lunch, followed by activities that will help reinforce lessons we learned earlier in the day about spring wildflowers. Our day will end after lunch and as a reminder, an adult guardian must accompany children throughout the entire program.

Cancellation Policy for Event Registration: In case of cancellation, refunds will be granted in full up through April 1, 2025. After that time, all payments are final and if not used, will be recorded as a tax-deductible donation to the Arc of Appalachia. Registrations are transferable. If you are transferring your registration to another party, please be sure to provide us with your recipient’s name and email.
