Transfer of Stocks and Mutal Fund Investments
The Arc of Appalachia is well equipped to accept gifts of stocks and mutual funds through our Schwab Account, or through the Columbus Foundation. We are happy to guide you through the process.

To name us in your will or as a beneficiary of investments, please use our legal name, Arc of Appalachia, our tax ID i31-1434730, and our address at 7660 Cave Road, Bainbridge, OH 45612.
Charitable Trusts
Setting up a trust now can provide endowment or land funds to the Arc after your passing, while providing the benefit of an immediate tax deduction. The Columbus Foundation, one of the largest and most prestigious foundations in the United States, can assist you and your attorney in this planning process. Gifts to an Existing Foundation Fund at the Columbus Foundation or other…
If you have funds already in the Columbus Foundation or at another Foundation with which we are connected, you can transfer funds directly from your Fund to ours, or you can choose to make a gift directly to the Foundation by naming the Fund destination of your choice. We have Funds both special project funds and endowment funds set up at the Columbus Foundation.
