The Highlands Nature Sanctuary is at 7660 Cave Road, Bainbridge, OH 45612, located in Highland County in south central Ohio approximately 25 miles west of Chillicothe, and 17 miles east of Hillsboro. It lies one mile south of Highway 50 on Cave Road, four miles west of Bainbridge, and four miles east of Rainsboro.

Cave Road is located immediately east of the bridge over the Rocky Fork Creek. Look for the brown highway sign for the Highlands Nature Sanctuary. Turn south on Cave Road and follow Cave Road for one mile until you reach the Appalachian Forest Museum, the visitor center of the Highlands Nature Sanctuary. Parking is on the left hand side, up the hill.

All meals take place at the Appalachian Forest Museum at the Highlands Nature Sanctuary. Packed lunches are put together at a lunch-making buffet available during breakfast, and eaten in the field.

All presentations will take place at the Paxton Theater located in Bainbridge at 133 E Main St, Bainbridge, Ohio. Built in 1910, the Paxton Theater is made of local rainbow sandstone and seats 300 people. It has sponsored the Paint Valley Jamboree, featuring live country musicians, for over 50 continuous years! Bainbridge is located on Highway 50, 4 miles east of the terminus of Cave Road, and 20 miles west of Chillicothe. The theater is directly on Highway 50 next to the Dairy Queen on the east side of downtown Bainbridge and on the south side of the highway.  Bainbridge is a small town with many quiet streets, all of which permit free parking. The Paxton Theater has a specified lot across the street from the theater, or you can park anywhere in town and schedule a few extra minutes to walk to the theater.
