Adams County is the location of the following Arc-managed preserves: Serpent Mound, Chalet Nivale Preserve, and Ohio River Bluffs Preserve. Davis Memorial, Shoemaker State Nature Preserve, and the Nature Conservancy’s Edge of Appalachia Preserve are also in Adams County.
