The Highlands Nature Sanctuary is at 7660 Cave Road, Bainbridge, OH 45612, located in Highland County in south central Ohio approximately 25 miles west of Chillicothe, and 17 miles east of Hillsboro. It lies one mile south of Highway 50 on Cave Road, four miles west of Bainbridge, and four miles east of Rainsboro.

Cave Road is located immediately east of the bridge over the Rocky Fork Creek. Look for the brown highway sign for the Highlands Nature Sanctuary. Turn south on Cave Road and follow Cave Road for one mile until you reach the Appalachian Forest Museum, the visitor center of the Highlands Nature Sanctuary. Parking is on the left hand side, up the hill.

Breakfast, supper and all evening programs take place at the Appalachian Forest Museum. Packed lunches are put together at a lunch-making buffet available during breakfast, and eaten in the field.

Each hike has a designated meeting area and unique time of departure. Links to the directions to your specific meeting places will be emailed to you following registration.
