The world of medicinal plants can be quite expansive and technical. In this workshop Amy Dalrymple will cover the basics of starting to work with the medicinal plants commonly found in our region shedding some light into the secret world of plants. She will cover the processing and making of salves, poultices, and teas. We will harvest and process some plants, explore some uses, and work on positive plant identification. This will be a hand’s on workshop where you will get first hand experience with the plants and be able to take home some wild plants for your apothecary.
Participants are asked to bring several of your own jars, natural bags, or other favorite containers, a notebook, and something to write with.
