Dear Friends,

We appreciate your answers to these questions. We will honor your sharing in whatever depth feels right for you.

What is your name, address, phone number, birth date, and e-mail address?

What are your long-term goals and dreams in life? (practicality not necessary for this question)

What attracts you the most about this internship?

What is your academic background? Are you currently in school? If so, where? What are your current academic goals?

How would you describe your current relationship with nature?

Please describe the extent of your interest and experience in gardening and healthy cooking.

What has been the most transformational experience in your life to date?

What are some of the favorite books you have been reading?

What do you consider you special talents and gifts? This questions is not limited to academics. Please tell us about yourself. Include non-tangible virtues as well as practical ones

What practical skills do you already call your own? In addition, please let us know if you have any of the following skills -- these are often helpful to us but are certainly not required: carpentry, writing, grant-writing, in-depth computer skills, landscaping and small engine maintenance.

We realize you are coming here to learn, but do you have any background or special interests already developed in any earth stewardship and sustainability realms? Cooperative communities?

Would this internship be ideally associated with school credit? If so, what are your school requirements? (you can be brief here, we can discuss this in detail later)

Are you available for the entire 6 month semester?  If not, when are you available?

Are you available for a personal interview at the Sanctuary? If so, are you flexible with dates?

Would you have access to a car during the internship?

How did you find our website? We appreciate finding out which "sister" websites are most effective in linking you to us.

We are very serious here about changing the world, and healing ourselves in order to be vectors of positive action. We find that society is filled with distractions that stop us from being our authentic unique selves, in touch with our spiritual essences. For this reason TES Farm Eco-center at the Sanctuary goes by the same rules and regulations as the Sanctuary--serving as a retreat center with no alcohol, drugs, smoking or TV. We believe that freeing oneself from the bombardments of the corporate and chemical world gives an incredible environment for self-reflection and personal power. We want people to come here who naturally look forward to this serenity as an personal expansive opportunity--as opposed to looking at the philosophy as restrictions that are irrelevant to their life path. Life is too short not to be exactly where you  want to be in life--both geographically and philosophically. Is this lifestyle in resonance with your personal life goals?

Please supply us with relevant work references.

You will find this internship program is seriously earnest about giving you the most visionary educational experiences possible. Of course, we are biased, but we nevertheless believe that this internship is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people who have the will to sculpture a program customized to their personal ideals.
