In this evening talk, Sara Lewis, noted biologist, award-winning author, and firefly expert dives into the mysterious world of fireflies and reveals the most up-to-date discoveries about these charismatic insects. Hear her remarkable stories of firefly courtship and romance, poison and even deceit. Program content is sophisticated enough to appeal to adults & interesting enough to engage children, so don’t hesitate to bring the entire family. Indoor program will be 45-55 minutes in length. The presentation will be followed by firefly viewing on the grounds. Fireflies begin their activity right at dusk. Sunset will be shortly after 9:00 pm.

Location. The event will be held at the Cincinnati Friends Meeting House and grounds at 8075 Keller Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45243, near Kenwood in northeastern Cincinnati, inside 275, and east of 71.
